Our Mission Statement:
To assist individuals in the transgender and non-binary community to secure legal services
To research and raise public awareness of gender identity legal and public policy issues
To challenge practices, laws and systems that fail to address the needs of the transgender and non-binary community
The Transgender Advocacy Centre is a non-profit organization which offers a respectful trans friendly service connecting individuals in need of legal services with lawyers who can assist them.
Common Legal Services provided:
– wrongful dismissal claims
– job harassment
– family separation and divorce
– landlord tenant disputes
-In appropriate circumstances, legal fees
will be determined on the basis of ability to pay.
